As you ride through the city, the bustling streets of Cairo gradually gives way to ancient wonders. The rhythm of the horse’s hooves creates a harmonious backdrop as you approach the inspiring pyramids of Giza or the necropolis of Saqqara. The panoramic view from horseback offers a unique perspective of these monumental structures, allowing you to appreciate their grandeur against the desert backdrop.
You will stay in the “House of Kheops,” a unique family house located in the neighborhood of Nazlet El Saman, at the bottom of Egypt’s largest pyramid and the first wonder of the world. Nazlet el Samman is a vibrant community where horses are deeply embedded in daily life and culture. This immersive environment offers opportunities to observe, interact with, and learn from horses in their natural setting.

Day to day
Day 1 - Arrival in the House of Kheops
- Arrival in Cairo, private transportation to the House
- Settling in the House, free time and stroll in the neighborhood
- Night in the House
Day 2 - Riding Giza
- Morning ride by the Giza pyramids (2 hours ride).
- Egyptian breakfast at the House
- Guided tour of the Giza pyramids and the Sphinx with Egyptologist
- Exclusive visit of the inside of the Great pyramid
- Lunch inside the Giza complex with panoramic view of the pyramids

Day 3 - Riding Saqqara
- Egyptian breakfast at the house
- Stroll in the neighbourhood
- Visit the Saqqara necropolis with your Egyptologist
- Meet an Egyptian farming family who will take you on horseback to explore their village and way of life. You’ll then be invited to their home to share a traditional meal made with fresh produce from their land and garden.

The House of Kheops is a family home situated in the popular neighborhood of Nazlet El Samman, on the outskirts of Cairo. Nazlet el Samman is a vibrant community where horses are deeply embedded in daily life and culture.
Due to its unique and almost surreal location in front of the Kheops pyramid, it’s a place brimming with energy, a true haven of peace amidst streets often bustling with merchants and horse-drawn carts.

- Horse breeds : local horses, Arabs, Anglo Arabs and thoroughbreds
- For beginners, it is possible to lead the horse by hand, and these will be local horses.
- For intermediate and advanced riders, you can enjoy galloping and riding purebred Arabian horses.
- Weight limit for riders is 90kg
